Beyonce Knowles has teamed up with rapper Kanye West for her upcoming album, which is rumored to be titled "Virtuoso Intellect." It is also reported that her song “Beautiful Nightmare" will be one of the US bonus tracks. Beyonce’s new material is set for an international release on November 11 while the US edition will hit stores on November 18. Meanwhile, Beyonce can be heard on a forthcoming single to benefit cancer research along with fellow artists Rihanna, Fergie, Miley Cyrus and Mary J. Blige. L'Oreal accused of lightening Beyonce’s complexion - 2008-08-11
Beauty giant L'Oreal has been accused of whitewashing the skin tone of Beyonce Knowles in an ad for a haircare product. The singer’s complexion appears noticeably light in comparison to her natural color in the cosmetic brand’s campaign. Gossip sites claim that the shot has been altered and “severely Photoshopped”. But the company of has denied the issue, saying "Beyonce Knowles has been a spokesperson for the L'Oréal Paris brand since 2001". "It is categorically untrue that L'Oréal Paris altered Ms Knowles' features or skin tone in the campaign for Féria hair colour."
Beyonce Knowles is among the stars set to perform at this year’s Fashion Rock event. The songstress will rock the mic at the event, scheduled for September 5 in New York. Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Kid Rock and Mariah Carey will also take part of the show that mixes music and the hottest fashion. All the funds raises will go to ‘Stand Up To Cancer’, which is an Entertainment Industry Foundation programme that develops cancer research.
