Beyonce Knowles is planning to put her music career on hold for at leastsix months. The songstress, who will end her “I Am…” tour in February, has revealed she needs some time off for herself. In a recent interview, Beyonce said, "It's definitely time to take a break, to recharge my batteries." "I'd like to take about six months and not go into the studio. I need to just live life, to be inspired by things again...I've always worked hard, but I feel like I worked harder this past year than I have since I was just starting out. I just had all these great opportunities." Next month she will wrap up her 11-month tour.

Beyonce Knowles has been criticized for giving a New Year’s Eve private gig to the son of Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. The singer forked in $ 2 million for performing five songs for  Gaddafi's son, at a concert on the Caribben island of St Barts.  Other stars at the show inlcuded Lindsay Lohan, Usher, Jon Bon Bovi and model Victoria Silvstedt. Gaddafi junior has a record of alleged violence to women. "Beyonce's handlers usually make really good decisions about where she's going to perform ... So it seems to me that someone was asleep at the wheel, or the money was so overwhelming that they said, 'Screw the public image, we're going to take the cash,' " said Marc Lamont Hill, a media professor at Columbia University.

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have offered to help Robbie Williams with his wedding. The famous couple will be thrilled to wed plan the British star wed to Ayda Field. “ I would be happy to help Robbie organise his wedding. I am sure he will make it an extravagant party. I had my 40th last month in the Dominican Republic. That would be a great place for Robbie's wedding. It's the most stunning place on earth. It has everything - beautiful beaches, scenery, golf courses - and is easy to fly guests to,” Contactmusic.com quoted Jay-Z, as saying.   He added, "The entertainment at my party was all hot and if Robbie wants my help he should come over for dinner and Bey (Beyonce) and I can help him out. She is great at organising parties, she loves it."

Beyonce Knowles will adopt her husband Jay-Z’s surname. The songstress, who is married to the rapper Shawn Carter, wants to add his surname to hers. And Jay-Z would change his name to Sean Knowles-Carter in order to keep Knowles’ roots alive since there’s no male descendents in the family. A source told OK! Magazine, “They want to keep Knowles because Beyonce’s parents didn’t have any sons and they’re keen to keep the name going strong, especially if they don’t produce any children themselves."

Beyonce Knowles is adamant to take her tour to every corner of the planet and has announced her South America tour. The singer will take her I Am…Sasha Fierce show to Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru, among other cities. She’ll start touring on February 4 in Florianópolis, Brazil, and wraps up on 18th in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
