Beyonce Knowles took a break from the filming of Obsessed and flew to the UK to join her husband Jay-Z in his music duties overseas. The Bootylicious star arrived at Glastonbury to enjoy rapper Jay-Z’s performance in Somerset. Even though the mogul’s controversial signing as a headlining act at the traditional festival, he could make his audience vibrate with his music. "This is a beautiful moment," he told to his fans. "I'm glad to share it with each and every one of you." Beyonce showed her style as always, wearing jeans, heels and a green rain mac.

Beyonce Knowles came at No. 4 on the 2008 Forbes’ most powerful celebrity list. With earnings of $80 millions, the ‘Bootylicious’ performer managed to make a place on the on the coveted business magazine. Talk show host Oprah Winfrey remained on the top of the list for a second year in a row, and the fifth time overall.  Golfer Tiger Woods landed a second spot, followed by actress Angelina Jolie and footballer David Beckham. I other news, Beyonce was spotted having lunch with Jay-Z at New York City’s Bar Pitti on Friday (June 13).

Rapper Snoop Dogg has shared some parenting words to Beyonce Knowles and husband Jay-Z.  "I told them to go home and make babies," People.com quoted him, as saying at the Dodge Celebrity Event in Rosamond, California.  Snopp Dogg, who has been married for 10 years and has three children, added, "They should, that's the next step as far as marriage, having kids ... add on to the family, so hopefully that's what they'll do."  But when he was asked if he was thinking of having more  kids, he smiled, “No. I’m good.”

Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z have bought a new house to live together, according to reports. The stars have purchased a mansion in Scarsdale, which is a quiet New York suburb close to where they tied the knot past April. The new colonial-style residence has been under construction for the past 6 months and is situated in 2 acres of lands, claims TMZ. The couple is currently living in a penthouse apartment in New York’s poshTriBeCa district.

       

Beyonce Knowles is reportedly in line to sing the new James Bond’s soundtrack.  The singer’s name is among the options considered for the forthcoming film Quantum Of Solace, after troubled Amy Winehouse left the project. Winehouse was going to perform the song, but producer Mark Ronson claimed that initial plans has been canceled due to Winehouse’s ongoing health issues. According to the London Paper, Beyonce is currently in talks with movie producers to record a song in collaboration with legendary Bond composer John Barry.

Beyonce Knowles has decided to stop going to church on Sunday because of the stir she generates during religious ceremonies. The superstar has been forced to miss church services at her local church in Houston, as she felt guilt for all the attention she draws. "I can't really go to church any more, which is a shame," Contactmusic quoted Knowles as saying. "People have come up to me in church during the sermon and, of course, people watch everything I do. They come up and take my picture on their mobile phones. They're very nice, but I think God understands if I miss Sunday service," she added.
